Celebrating International Women’s Day
Curated by Rajini Rekha

Be You is a powerful all-women art exhibition curated by Rajini Rekha in celebration of International Women’s Day, bringing together diverse artistic voices to reflect on equality, resilience, and selfhood. The exhibition stands as a collective assertion of identity and empowerment, addressing critical social themes through artistic expression.

The artworks explored subjects such as equal pay, gender equality, equal opportunity, body shaming, and mental wellness, offering deeply personal and socially conscious perspectives. Talented women artists from across the state were invited to participate, creating a rich and inclusive dialogue that transcended individual experiences and resonated with shared realities.

A significant highlight of the exhibition was the presence of distinguished speakers who expanded the conversation beyond the gallery walls. Ms. Prathibha Chandra from NIMHANS spoke on the profound relationship between art and mental wellness, emphasizing creativity as a tool for healing, expression, and emotional balance. Her insights reinforced the therapeutic and transformative power of art.

Adding another dimension to the event, Ms. Esha Panth, IPS, addressed the audience on strength, leadership, and perspective, underscoring the role of empowered women in building a stronger and more inclusive nation. Her address inspired confidence, courage, and collective responsibility.

Be You was more than an exhibition—it was a celebration of voice, visibility, and solidarity. The show successfully created a space where art became a medium of advocacy, reflection, and empowerment, making it a memorable and impactful tribute to women in all their strength and diversity.
